While Microsoft Modifications and improvements have been made to its suite of office applications for some time, and there has been no appropriate change for the year numbered since 2019. But that is changing today, with Microsoft officially unveiling Office. Headquarters. center 2021.
As is the case for a course with these updates, as of recent times however, this new program is designed for people who don’t want to subscribe to Microsoft 365. It’s basically a standalone option, which is a good thing for the users out there. You don’t want to spend money on a regular basis for subscribing. As noted today Microsoft isn’t going into much detail about all of the bells and whistles of Office 2021 yet, but we know a few things.
For starters, we know that the new Office 2021 will support dark mode as soon as it’s out of the box. Improvements will also be made to accessibility features and more. These changes also come in the Microsoft Office LTSC (Long Term Service Channel) variant, which was made for commercial users.
The original report says Microsoft will not make any significant UI changes in this release of Office 2021. It appears that the company is focusing its attention in this regard on Microsoft 365.
Microsoft says the release of LTSC, released this way, is an indication that not all business customers are ready to move their workloads to the cloud yet:

At the same time, we definitely have clients with specific scenarios where they don’t feel they can move to the cloud.
For those who use Microsoft’s suite of applications in Office, upgrades to the 2021 variant will likely be welcome. But we’ll have to wait a little longer to see exactly what Microsoft will add with the new software release later this year.
