Launched in the fall of 2019, Apple Arcade, Apple’s on-demand and subscription games service, has bet on games that are often new and have very different styles. While some are betting on the cloud gaming to bring a catalog of games interesting on mobile, Apple preferred to opt for a more personalized solution: on-demand subscription gaming. Like a Netflix, Apple Arcade offers a subscription at 5 euros per month to access a unique catalog of games, available all the time (one month of free trial). These are not in streaming, but indeed to download so that users can access it even offline.
To access Apple Arcade, you need an iPhone, iPad, Mac or an Apple TV box. Note that the subscription extends to the whole family (up to 6 people registered on the account). You can take advantage of Xbox controllers (including the Adaptive controller), PS4 DualShock 4 and various MFi controllers to play on different media.
